Johnnie Ray Howell

Funeral service for Johnnie Ray Howell, 43 of Lawton, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at Letitia Cemetery.

Mr. Howell passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Durant, Oklahoma.

There will be a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Johnnie was born on December 13, 1974 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Johnny Clifford and Marianne (Schmidt) Howell. He grew up in Lawton where he attended school. He worked for Dolese and later in the lawn maintenance business. He then begin his career with Vyve Broadband in 2015 where he worked as an Internet Tech and was a certificated Tower Climber... a job he loved. He married Kelly Sawyer on May 4, 2002 in Fayetteville, North Carolina and they made Cache, Oklahoma their home. Johnnie was the neighborhood "Fix It Man" and loved helping people. He was known to help anyone in need and would go out of his way to offer assistance. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Howell, of the home; his mother, Marianne Howell, of the home; two daughters, Jordana Howell and fiance', Cory Rave, of Cache, OK and April Sexton, of Goldsboro, NC; his brother, Scott Abendroth, of Mason City, Iowa; three grandchildren, Jaspen Rave, Jordan Sexton, and Jeremiah Sexton; his nieces, nephews, and brothers in law and sisters in law.

He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Clifford "Corky" Howell and Donnie Ray Howell; his mother in law, Cynthia Ellis; and his father in law, Jimmy Sawyer.
