June Delores McCaig

Funeral service for June Delores McCaig, 79, of Geronimo, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Chapel, Pastor Steve Mallow will officiate.  

Mrs. McCaig went to her heavenly home on Friday, April 19th, 2019.  

There will be a special visitation held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Letitia Cemetery  following the service. 

June was born on January 12th, 1940 in the countryside of Geronimo, to loving parents  Roy S. and Lola (Peirce) Clark. She enjoyed the natural beauty of our great state, and would take every opportunity to be out fishing or watching the hummingbirds. June married the love of her life Floyd McCaig  on November 24, 1958, they spent 61 years together raising their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a devoted mother who never missed a ball game or event in her families life, they were the center of her world. June was a beacon of kindness, love, and support for all that knew her, she will be sorely missed.  

She is survived by her husband, Floyd McCaig, of the home; her two sons; Donald and his wife Leigh Ann McCaig of Geronimo , and Billy Ray and his wife Connie McCaig  of Harrah; Daughter Jodie Pillow and husband Peter of Mustang; four grandchildren, Tamra Wickham and husband Chance, Tiffany Brantley and husband Galen, Kyle Bryant and wife Courtney, and Tyla McCaig; four great grandchildren, Oliver Bryant, Maddux and Parker Wickham, and Lu Bryant; brothers and sisters in law  Bill and Janet Clark, Gary and Linda Clark, and Jimmy and Rhonda Clark; and several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry and his wife Charlene Clark and  sisters Shirley Street and Leona Robertson, and Mona Gay Clark.
