Kandy Kay Moore

Kandy Kay Moore, age 49, resident of Frederick, OK was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at home, passing of natural causes.

Kandy was born on November 18, 1971 to Leroy and Mary Elizabeth (Blankenship) Moore in Frederick, OK. She attended and graduated Grandfield Public Schools.

Kandy lived in both Grandfield and Frederick and had many friends. She loved all types of music, playing craps at the casino, spending time with friends and especially loved going to family reunions.

Kandy gave birth to her son Chance Ray Moore on February 9, 1992 . She said she felt truly grateful and blessed when she learned of her pregnancy, as she had been told she could never have children, that one or both of them may not make it. She said “That’s a chance I’ll have to take” and so that’s what she named him. Chance has always been the light of her life and he then blessed her with three beautiful grandchildren that she adored.

Kandy is survived by her son Chance Moore, two grandsons Gage Raymond Moore and Chaz Ray Moore, one granddaughter Azzah Kay Moore, all of Altus, OK. One sister Tina McBride and husband Mike of Frederick, OK. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Proceeded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mary Moore, two brothers, Mike Moore and Darrell Moore, one sister, Diania Brock.
