Kenneth Vincent Ille peacefully passed away at his home on July 13, 2018.
There will be a special visitation on Thursday July 19, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Gray Funeral home.
Kenneth was born on May 9, 1938 in Loveland, OK, to Clarence H. “Doc” Ille and Alice Opal (Burk) Ille. Kenneth graduated from Loveland High School and attended Cameron University in Lawton, OK. Kenneth honorably served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard retiring after 26 ½ years. He also retired from Civil Service after 25 years.
Kenneth was not flashy, nor did he seek attention for himself, but rather shown the light on others. Kenneth had a dry wit and free-flowing sarcasm, sometimes subtle, but always funny. He was known by many names: father, son, husband, brother, friend, but none treasured more to him than that of grandfather. Kenneth adored and doted on his grandsons, Jacob and Spencer.
He is survived by his children: Anne Ille and Rene’ Frolich of Moore, OK; Clarence H. “Bud” and Jennifer Ille of Norman, OK; his grandsons: Jacob Vincent and Spencer Houston. He is survived by his two sisters: Joyce and L.C. “Buddy” Meadows and Margie Nickell. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Ricky Meadows, Debbie Moore, Shelly Nickell, and Ricky Nickell; and many friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Virginia “Ginny” Ille.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or stjude.org.
