If you listen when it’s quiet, you can hear the flutter of angel wings. They belong to Leigh Anne Long and she is soaring into the heavens to greet her heavenly father. She is joyous and thrilled to be free of pain and suffering.

Funeral services for Leigh Anne Long, 49 of Lawton, will be held at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home, 632 SW C Avenue in Lawton, Oklahoma, on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

Informal visitation will begin any time after 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, with a reception for family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on the same day.

Leigh Anne passed away at Baptist Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City on Friday, August 25, 2017, and saved the lives of three individuals through her gift of organ donation. The family is extremely comforted with this, and grateful for the excellent care and support from the Baptist Hospital staff during their time of grief.

She was born in Abilene, Texas June 11, 1968, in total love and happiness to Jon Ella Fragua and her former husband, but after this union ended, Jon Ella married Granville Long of Winters, Texas. Leigh Anne was adopted by Granville Long and the family moved to California as her father was assigned there by his occupation with the Federal Government. They lived in California for eight years and were thrilled to be assigned to Lawton, where Leigh Anne attended Elgin school from fifth grade until her graduation from Elgin High School in 1986. She attended Cameron University majoring in Chemistry, but her greatest joy and accomplishment were her three sons, Tyler Watts, Turner Watts, and Trevor Watts.

Her wonderful living siblings are Roger Long and wife, Cindy Long of Cyril, Oklahoma and their two sons, Jacob and Ryan Long; her special sister, Stephanie West who lives in Channing, Texas with her husband, Jay West, and their daughter, Savannah West; her brother Terry Long and his wife Teresa Long of Paris, Kentucky and their two daughters, Terra Long and Tessa Cauthren.

She also leaves behind her aunt Mary Lynn Averett and her husband Larry of Arlington, Texas; her uncle Roger Dale Long, and his wife Sandra Jean Long and their two daughters Jodie Long and Jenny Duncan, all of Dennison, Texas; her former sister in law Shelley Watts Stevenson, of Oklahoma City and her daughters MacKenzie and Markie Stevenson, and her former husband, Mark Watts; as well as a host of other loving cousins and extended family. She was welcomed in heaven by her maternal grandmother, Pauline Fragua of Abilene, Texas; her maternal grandfather Louis Fragua of Corpus Christi, Texas; her paternal grandfather, Granville S. Long and paternal grandmother, Lois Long, both of Winters, Texas; also, her special maternal uncle, Paul Fragua, M.D. of Brownwood, Texas and her aunt Debra Krebbs of Kerrville, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any love offerings be made to the animal rescue organization in your area.
