Lillie Isabell Bowen

Funeral service for Lillie Isabell (Cook) Holman Bowen, 84, of Mountain Park, Oklahoma will be held, 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 28, 2022 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Highway 183 South of Snyder, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bowen passed away March 25, 2022 at her home in Mt. Park surrounded by her loved ones. 

Lillie was born April 19, 1937 to the late Maybell and Lonzo Cook in Velma, OK. She graduated from Mt. Park High School in 1956. Lillie had many talents, she enjoyed reading Louis Lamar novels and painting. 

Lillie had three children, Robert, Rhonda, and Ranice. She married Billy "Don" Bowen February 19, 2010. They loved each other very much and she gained a second family; the Bowens. She welcomed them with open arms. Bill and Connie, Dee and Betty, Al, Vera, and Melinda. She had eight grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-step-grandchildren. 

Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Billy "Don" Bowen; parents, Maybell (Dickinson) and Lonzo Cook; brothers, Clem Cook, Allen Cook, Troy Cook, Derl Cook; twin siblings Deloris and Dewayne Cook; and her children's father Billy Jack Holman.

She is survived by her son, Robert and wife Marsha Holman of Electra, TX; daughters, Rhonda and husband Tony Huff of Duncan, OK; Ranice (Holman) Wood of Mt. Park, OK; brothers, Russell Cook of Possum Kingdom and Forest Cook of Comanche, OK; and sister Eva Cook of Mt. Park, OK.
