Graveside service for Lois D. Southwood, 86, of Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma with Reverend Dr. Bill Schneider, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, officiating.  

Mrs. Southwood passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Lawton. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Lois was born on March 31, 1932 in Elton, Louisiana to Raymond and Elia (Ardion) Delahoussaye. She grew up in Louisiana where she attended school. She married Herbert Donald Glass in Houston, Texas and they returned to Louisiana. Lois came to Lawton in 1963. She married Henry Southwood on March 25, 1980. Mr. Southwood passed away on June 19, 1987. Lois worked civil service at Fort Sill for 18 years. She was a member of the Rebecka's, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and she volunteered for the Oklahoma Blood Institute. Lois was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church. 

She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Harold Glass and Robert and Trudi Glass, all of Lawton; her daughter, Virginia Kaye Hurn, of Fletcher, OK; her siblings, Dalbert Delahoussaye, of Austin, TX, Raeford Delahoussaye, of Rockwall, TX, Verian Tippen, of Kinder, LA, Bonnie Marcantel, of Sulphur, LA, and Glenda Pousson, of Elton, LA; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one on the way. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Donald Glass; her infant daughter, Patricia Ann Glass; her son in law, Zane Hurn; and her siblings, Howard Delahoussaye, Bervin Delahoussaye, and Mary Tester.
