Mable "Babe" Beurleen (Pelt) Biffle

Funeral service for former Duncan resident, Mable "Babe" Beurleen Pelt Biffle, 91, of Yukon, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Lawton, OK with Roy Rochell officiating. 

Mrs. Biffle passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK.

A special viewing and visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   

Babe was born on August 30, 1931 in Idabel, Oklahoma to Avery R. and Lamenteen (Whitaker) Pelt. After the death of her father, she moved to the Waurika area with her mother and sister and graduated from Empire High School in May of 1951. She married John Thomas Biffle on June 6, 1953 and they made their home in Duncan, Oklahoma with their daughter, Judy. Babe's pride and joy was her only granddaughter, Shelly Marie Hunteman who was born on September 30, 1988. Mr. Biffle passed away on January 31, 2014 and Babe moved to Yukon, OK in 2015 to be near her family.   

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Judy and Wayne Hunteman, of Yukon, OK; her granddaughter, Shelly Frank and husband, Alex, of Mustang, OK along with two great grandsons, Carter and Landon Frank; her brother and sister in law, Royce and Earlene Rochell, of Comanche, OK; her sister, Joyce Bohannon; her sister in law, Donna Rochell, all of Duncan, OK; and her nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by husband, Tom Biffle; her parents, Avery Pelt and Lamenteen Pelt Rochell, her step father, Clifton Rochell; her sister, Mildred Williams; and her brother, Doyce Rochell.
