A Celebration of Life Service for Marilyn J. McCleskey, 67 of Lawton will be held at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m Tuesday, March 9, 2021.
Ms. McCleskey passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in Lawton.
Services are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Burial at Highland Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Marilyn was born on August 29, 1953 in Lawton, OK to William Eugene and Patsy (Crutcher) Worthen. She has lived in Lawton all of her life. Marilyn graduated from Lawton High School in 1971. She attended Cameron University. Marilyn worked for many years at Sears, where she retired from there in 2009. She then began working at the clinics for Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. McCleskey loved her children and grandchildren and loved attending their sporting events and racing. She loved the race car driver, Tony Stewart. Marilyn loved all animals and took in any animal she found. She was a caretaker for everyone that needed her.
She is survived by her mother, Patsy Worthen, of Lawton, OK; her son, Michael McCleskey and his wife, Tonya, of Lawton; her daughter, Carey Tollett and her husband, David, of Lawton; her brother, John Worthan of Lawton; her grandchildren, Bristol, J.T., Blaklea, Austin, and Caleigh; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Sharp, Justin Tracy; great nieces and nephews, Alexander Sharp, Nickolas Sharp, and Britton Tracy .
Marilyn is preceded in death by her father, William Eugene Worthen, her sister, Linda Jane Tracy, and her grandparents.
