Funeral service for Marilyn M. Stonerock, 85 of Lawton will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with Rev. John E. Borrego officiating.
Mrs. Stonerock passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Lawton.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M on Wednesday, March 20, and from 8:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 21.
Marilyn was born on May 13, 1933 in Akron, Ohio to Earl and Cecil (Gilligan) LeVan. She grew up in Akron where she attended school. After graduating high school, she married Edwin T. Stonerock on November 9, 1952. They travel to many locations with Mr. Stonerock's military career including Michigan, New Jersey, Germany, and Oklahoma which they made their home in 1966. Marilyn was a dedicated army wife and homemaker. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Edwin Stonerock, Jr and Karen, of Lawton, OK and Raymond and Debbie Stonerock, of Comanche, OK; brothers, Richard Miller, Bruce Miller, and Charles "Buzz" Miller; sisters, Debbie McGhee and Kathy Evans; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin; her daughter, Nancy Mae Stonerock; and her sister, Marie.
