Mary Curran

Word has been received of the death of Mary Curran, 63 , of Lawton , Oklahoma. Mrs. Curran passed away on Tuesday , September 5, 2023 in her home in Lawton. Services to be held at a later date.

Mary Curran was born July 28th , 1960 in Orange County, California to Jack and Helen Mak. Mary grew up in California until the age of 14 where she then began her journey to be with her sister in Lawton by Hitchhiking. She attended Lawton High School and was a part of the graduating class of 1978. A few years later she began working at the local Save-A-Lot for many years until they closed. She also worked at Cosmetic Specialty labs for many years up until her retirement in 2016. Mary was known to be a wonderful homemaker when she wasn't working and can be titled as a "Free-Spirited" woman by many who know her. In her free time she enjoyed listening to Janis Joplin , Spending time with her family , and her fur baby "Sweets" . The smell of patchouli oil was often found to be her favorite. 

She is Survived by her son and daughter in law ,  Kyle and Niki Davis of Ponca City , Ok ; Daughter Casey Davis , of Lawton , Ok ; Grandson Benjamin Meads , of Lawton , Ok ; Granddaughter Hailey Meads of Marlow , Ok ; and Fur baby "Sweets" ; and  "Grand Pup " Blue.

She is preceded in death by Husband Henry " Tiny " Curran ; Parents Jack and Helen Mak ; 8 of 9 Siblings ; and other numerous family members.
