Mary Ella (Watson) Ryans

Funeral service for Mary Ella (Watson) Ryans will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Teel and Jay Driskell officiating. 

Burial will follow at Mountain Park Cemetery in Mountain Park, Oklahoma.

Mary passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Lawton.

Special viewing and visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the funeral home. 

Mary was born on April 2, 1929 in Ravia, Oklahoma to Henry and Mary (Williams) Dotson. She grew up in Ravia and attended school in Ravia and Mill Creek, Oklahoma. She worked for many years as a Nurse's Aide at Frederick Memorial Hospital and later was a Home Health Care Provider for DHS.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Bill and Haroldean Hogan, of Lawton, Oklahoma and Ben Watson, of Amarillo, Texas; her sister and brother in law, Pauline and Ray Moul, of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren and their spouses, Greg and Jana Hogan, Michelle and Greg Thompson, and Brett and Tracey Hogan; great grandchildren, Geoffrey Hoan, Collin Hogan, Matthew Hogan, Ryan Owen and his wife, Stephanie, Austin Owen, Catherine Thompson; her nieces and nephews; and her dear friends at the Brentwood Retirement Community. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Dotson; her husbands, Pete Watson and R.D. Ryans; her daughter in law, Dianne Watson; and two sisters, Thelma Noble and Doris Combs.
