Maurina "Rina" Maxwell

Word has been received of the death of Maurina "Rina" Maxwell, 71 of Lawton.

Mrs. Maxwell passed away on Monday, October 29th, 2018 in Lawton.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.  

Maurina was born on January 16, 1947 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Lee O. and Charlotte (Gaede) Miller. She grew up in Albuquerque where she attended school. She married Michael Maxwell in the 1970's. Maurina sold mobile homes and later was a licensed Mortgage Broker. Her husband, Mike passed away in January of 2007 and she then came to Lawton to live with her son. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and hidden object games. She also enjoyed watching game shows. Maurina was a woman of faith who touched many hearts. She was loved by everyone and was a loving and caring lady. She will be missed by all who knew her. 

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Garry and Maria Gaede, of Lawton, OK; her daughter and son in law,  Leesa and Miguel "Gerald" Garcia, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her grandchildren, Stephanie Boyles and husband, Ryan, Anjela Gaede, Jesse Gaede, Mariah Gaede, Damian Garcia, and Sebastian Garcia; and her great grandchildren, Ryan Boyles, Jr., Tyler Boyles, and Lavonnie Gaede. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee O. and Charlotte Miller; and her beloved husband, Michael Maxwell.
