Michael L Stansberry

Memorial service for Michael L. Stansberry, 56, of Lawton, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delbert Hughes of Lighthouse Church of God officiating.

Mr. Stansberry passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Wichita Falls, Texas. 

Michael was born on February 13, 1961 in Xenia, Ohio. His parents were Wayne and Pat Curtsinger. His family moved to Lawton in the mid 1960's and he graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1980, later serving in the United States Navy. Michael married Tina Haynes on January 2, of 2006 in Mankins, Texas. The lived and worked for a while at the Grand Canyon before returning to Lawton. He worked for Locke Supply, PA Chevrolet, and also worked in the heating, air and plumbing business. Michael enjoyed playing cards and dice, going to the casino and bowling, and once scored a perfect game of 300 points. 

He is survived by his wife, Tina, of the home; his two step sons, Calvin Haynes and his wife, Amy, of Texas, and Erik Haynes, of Lawton; his two brothers, Albert Stansberry and his wife, Cheryl, of Lawton, and Bo Curtsinger, of Lawton; his two sisters, Debbie Arrowood and her husband, Kevin, of Lawton, and Tina Angell and her husband, Tommy, of Lawton; his two grandchildren, Arianna Haynes and Jack Haynes, his nieces and nephews, Dustin Arrowood, Clinton Arrowood, Tiffany Angell, Erike Stansberry, Thomas Angell, and Kadyn Arrowood; and his fur baby, Roxy.   

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Christopher Lee Stansberry.
