Minnie Elizabeth Ward

Graveside Service for Minnie Elizabeth Ward, 97, of Lawton, Oklahoma will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton.
Mrs. Ward passed away on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 in Lawton. 
Minnie was born August 14th, 1924 in Electra, Texas to the late Virgil Callender and Vera (Gardner) Hand. She grew up in Lawton, and married the love of her life on November 2, 1940 here in Lawton, Oklahoma. Among many things she enjoyed cooking for the family, garage sales, camping, and the outdoors. 
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Clanton; daughter-in-law, Karla Ward; grandchildren, Kevin Clanton, Kyle Clanton, Tina Traughber, Amy Hahn, and Crystal Ward; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and other loved ones.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ward is preceded in death by her loving husband, James, her brothers Oliver, Roy, and Clyde Callender; her sister, Geneva, and her son Bobby James Ward.
