Together she and Jeff built their dream home on 108 acres which is just west of Cache, Oklahoma. Ouida was a very loving mother. In addition to her own children and her step children, she also fostered numerous children throughout the years. She loved her dogs, her garden and her roses. She was an excellent cook and had won several ribbons for her canning at the county fair. She also enjoyed sewing.
