Patricia Louise (Chambers) Watson

Patricia Louise Watson, 87, of Grandfield, OK, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017, in Burkburnett, Texas.

Arrangements are pending with Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Watson was born May 24, 1930, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Ralph Frank and Frieda Lena Anna (Donath) Chambers. She resided in Iowa, until the age of ten. She and her family traveled on the road in a music show with acrobatics. She moved to Grandfield in 1946, at the age of 16. She attended Grandfield High School. Patricia married Leon Watson in 1950 at Lawton, OK. She was a homemaker. Patricia was assistant librarian for many years at the Grandfield Public Library. She loved to read, crochet and loved taking care of her cats.

Patricia is survived by her son, Matthew Watson and his wife, Tammy, of Grandfield, OK; her daughter, Aimee Davis and her husband, Jerry, of Burkburnett, TX; five grandchildren, Michael Watson, Zachary Dickson, Sean Dickson, Seth Davis; Trisha Wallace; three great grandchildren, Clayton Schelter, Adiliene Schelter and one on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph Frank and Frieda Lena Anna (Donath) Chambers; one son, Frank W. Watson, one brother, Ralph Chambers Jr., three sisters, Elizabeth Patterson, Maxine Holmes and Frieda Carson.

Memorials may be made to any local cat rescue society.

A memorial book will be available for signing at Gray Funeral Home for Mrs. Watson on the mornings of July 31 and August 1, 2017, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
