Funeral service for Patrick Henry Jackson, Jr, 75, of Lawton will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Cameron Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Teel officiating. 

Mr. Jackson passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Lawton. 

Burial will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday with a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 
 
Patrick was born on April 29, 1944 in Bryan, Texas to Patrick Henry Jackson, Sr. and Susie Lee (Cole) Jackson. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1962 and joined the United States Army on September of 1962. Patrick received many awards and medals while serving his country and retired from the Army in January of 1990. He married Everlena York on January 10, 1975 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After the military, Patrick then attended Cameron University and received his Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice in 1993. He worked at James Crabtree Correctional Facility as an officer, retiring in 2012 as a captain. Patrick enjoyed spending time with his family and was always supportive. He enjoyed working in his garden and will be missed by all who knew him.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Everlena Jackson, of the home; two daughters and sons in law, Staci  and Jerome Williams, Sr., of Lawton, OK and Larissa  and Tim Krusinsky, of Lawton, OK; his son and daughter in law, Patrick "PJ" Jackson, III and Cristen Jackson, of Lawton; his brothers and sisters in law, Don and Brenda Jackson, of Dallas, TX and Robert and Dora Jackson, of Thompson Station, TN; and six grandchildren, Jerome Williams, Jr., Makayla Jackson, Jennaye Williams, Donovan Krusinsky, Jaedyn Krusinsky (Deceased), and Shayla Jackson.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandparents.
