Memorial service for Patrick "Pat" G. Timberlake, 70 of Lawton, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Western Hills Christian Church with Minister Dave Menge and Mack Powers officiating, with special music by Jan Carol
There will be a private family burial at Fort Sill National Cemetery under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home at a later date. 
Mr. Timberlake passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Lawton, Oklahoma. 
Pat was born August 13, 1947 to Doris Lee and John J. Killian in Stuttgart Germany.  He was adopted by his grandparents Howard and Ona Timberlake on December 13, 1949.  He loved and respected his grandparents dearly. 
Pat was raised in Elgin, Ok and graduated from Elgin High School in 1966.  After graduation Pat enlisted in the United States Army.  Pat served from 1966 to 1969 during the Vietnam War.  While in the United States Army Pat received a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, The Republic Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Device, Pat also received 3 Bars while overseas along with his Marksman Rifle Badge.   After leaving the United States Army Pat worked in the oil field for numerous years.
Pat married Kathy Overstreet-Begley on July 21, 1990 in Furnish Canyon Colorado.  Pat and his family relocated to the Lawton area in 1995. Pat began working at High Tech Office Systems where he retired after 17 years.
Pat and Kathy were also active members of the Square Toppers Square Dance Club since 1997.  They served many offices in the Club as well as serving as the President of the South Central District in 2005.  Pat helped his wife Kathy organize the Southwest Oklahoma Affiliate for Huntington’s Disease.  He was also an honorary member of the Sweet Temptationz Car Club. 
Pat became a Christian at an early age and served the Lord throughout his life. He walked in faith until the end. Pat enjoyed driving his El Camino, spending time with friends and family, and drowning worms on a warm day. Pat's faith stayed strong through his most difficult days; sharing the word of Christ with everyone. 
Pat is survived by his wife Kathy of the home; 2 brothers Michael Killian and Timothy Killian; 5 children:  Jenifer Horne, Shelby and Josh Howe, Howard Timberlake, Brian and Caitie Begley, and Jessica Begley;  And 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brother Daniel Killian;  Son Bradley Begley; and 2 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, Southwest Oklahoma Affiliate at 7110 W Gore Blvd, Lawton, Oklahoma 73505, or to the Western Hills Christian Church.
