Patty Ann George, passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 81. Patty was a remarkable individual who led a fulfilling life surrounded by her loved ones.

Patty was born on November 20, 1942, in Oakes, North Dakota to Lloyd and Vyva Dinger.  Patty married Claron George in 1968.

After attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, Patty lived overseas, in Germany and Japan, where she was active in bondori folk dancing and attained a teacher’s license in ikebana (Japanese flower) arrangement.  She also lived in Colorado, Montana, Texas, and Tennessee, before settling in Oklahoma.

Patty George leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and warmth. She will forever be remembered as a devoted family member, a passionate gardener, a lover of dogs, an avid reader, a master of crossword puzzles, a fearless traveler, and above all, a cherished soul. May she rest in eternal peace, her spirit forever cherished and her memory forever treasured.

 She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Claron George, her children Lesley (Kerry) Brewer, Amy George, and Christopher (Jessica), and grandchildren Courtney, Michael, Caleb, Caelyn, and Callen, great grandchildren Gabriel and Grace, dogs Missy and Presley.  She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Vyva Dinger, and sisters Donna, Delores, Marilyn and grandson Aron.
