Re'Genia Brown-Allen

Funeral service for Re'Genia Brown, 64, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Grandfield. 

Mrs. Brown passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 in Spencer, Oklahoma. 

Burial will be at Grandfield Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Gray Funeral Home.

Re’Genia Brown-Allen was born on June 6, 1957.  Re’Genia was raised by A.G. and Julia Mae McGowan.  Re’Genia attended school at Grandfield High school.  Re’Genia graduated from Polytech high school in Fort Worth, TX in 1973.  Re’Genia married Samuel Carter in 1977, out of that union she had two daughters.  She later married Luther Brown in 1997 until his death in 2010.  Re’Genia later married Emmanuel Allen in 2020.  

Re’Genia held various jobs throughout her life, but her most important work, was the work she did for the Lord.  Re’Genia’s love and passion in life was to share and spread the gospel.  She witnessed God's word to everyone she met.  Showing them the love of Christ and mentoring them in the word of God.
Re’Genia is survived by her husband Emmanuel Allen of Oklahoma City, OK; Daughters: Julia Carter of Oklahoma City, OK, Ma’Star (Tim) Wright of Jacksonville, FL, Michelle Brown of Oklahoma City, OK, Bernita Brown of Oklahoma City, OK and Aariqa Allen of Lincoln, NE; Brother Henry McGowan of Grandfield, OK; Sisters Debra Anderson of Lawton, OK, and Diane Harris of Dallas, TX, and a host of God children, and nieces and nephews.  Re’Genia also leave behind 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Re’Genia was proceeded in death by her Parents A.G. and Julia Mae McGowan, Brother-William Stanfield; Sisters Margret Lee, Rosie Bell and Evetta Ann Benson; God children: Kenisha Brown and Robert Joe James III
