Ricky Jay Vickers

Ricky Jay Vickers, 57, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away on January 4, 2022.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Ricky was born September 27, 1964 in Childress, Texas to Jimmy Ralph Vickers and Patricia Ann (Rich) Vickers. 

Ricky was a semi truck driver for most of his life. Over the years, he did mobile home transport and set up, working on golf courses and also did road construction. Towards the end, he was transporting gas and jet fuel. His main passion was being a semi truck driver but due to illness he had to give that up. First and foremost, his family came first and he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Jerri Vickers; his daughter, Krystle Vickers; his brothers and sister in law, Brent Vickers, of Lawton, Ok and Jeff and Maria Vickers, of Daytona Beach, FL; and two granddaughters, Madison and Ashlynn. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; Jimmy and Patricia Vickers; his grandparents, Blanche and Ralph Vickers; and Pat and Cloye Rich. 

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
