Robert James "Bobby" Peppers

Funeral service for Robert James "Bobby" Peppers, 31 of Lawton will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home with Deacon Wuse Cara, of Holy Family Catholic Church officiating. 

Robert passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in Lawton. 

Bobby was born on June 27, 1987 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert Louis Peppers and Shelli (McCollister) Fox. He grew up in Lawton where he attended Sullivan Village Elementary and played soccer and loved bowling. He was an award winning tumbler, winning Silver and Bronze medals in trampoline. He enjoyed participating in Special Olympics while in elementary school. He then attended MacArthur Junior High School and graduated from Lawton High School in 2006. He then attended Vo-Tech, studying HVAC.  He worked for Discount Foods. Bobby was a member of the Open Doors Group and had an infectious smile and laugh. His happy loving outlook on life was motivational and uplifting. He treated everyone with kindness and reminded others to do the same. He was fiercely religious and loved his God with all of his heart and soul. Bobby was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

He is survived by his parents, Shelli and Jed Fox, of Lawton, OK and Robert L. Peppers, of Texas; three brothers, Jamison McCollister, Oklahoma City, OK, Jeremiah Fox, Oklahoma City, OK, and Austen Peppers, of Lawton; OK; his grandparents, Joyce McCollister, of Lawton, OK, Cedric L. McCollister, Richwood, TX, and Rita D. Fox, Florida; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.   

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; James Louis Peppers, Katherine "Kitty" Peppers and Arthur E. Fox; and his uncle, Donald Peppers.
