Robert Wayne Rollins

Funeral service for Robert Wayne Rollins, 53 of Grandfield, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Grandfield, Oklahoma with Keith King, Associate Pastor of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, officiating. 

Mr. Rollins passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Altus, Oklahoma.

Burial will be a Grandfield Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Funeral Home.    

Robert was born on August 27, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Don and JoAnn (Hamblin) Rollins. He grew up in Grandfield and graduated from Grandfield High School in 1983. While in high school, he was involved in FFA, baseball, and football. He also spent many nights and weekends team roping. He then attended Cameron University. After high school and college, he worked for Howmet Industries and has been employed by Wood's Farms for the past 15 years. He was also a volunteer fireman. Rob loved his family and was active in his children's activities. He was an OSU and Dallas Cowboy Football fan and loved his Peterbilt and his Harley Davidson. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grandfield.

He is survived by his parents, JoAnn Rollins, and Don and Jolene Rollins, all of Grandfield, OK; son, Clint Rollins and wife, Christa, of Ryan, OK; daughter, Jordan Rollins, of Reedville, TX; sister, Rhonda Clemmer and husband, Brad, of Cache, OK; three grandsons, Cutler, Cayson, and Creeden, of Ryan, OK; the love of his life, Vanessa Champion, of Devol, OK;  his nieces, Kailen Clemmer and Kinsey Clemmer; his nephew, Kaden Clemmer, all of Cache, OK. He also had many dear cousins, aunts, and uncles. 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, O.B. and Oretta Hamblin and Doyle and Lorena Rollins. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Fire Department  in care of the Valor Bank at PO Box 668, Grandfield, Oklahoma 73546.
