Rosalie Irma Klein

Rosalie Klein, 90, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022, in Lawton.  Rosalie was born on October 15, 1932, in Artesia, New Mexico to Roy Lester Mann and Clara Edith Mann.  Rosalie later moved to Hobart, Oklahoma where she met and married Carl Allen Klein on March 24, 1950, and made a home in Hobart and later in Lawton where she raised ten children.  Rosalie was a devoted wife and enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Rosalie was a warm, loving, and very busy mom.  She was always a joy to be with to share warm memories and good home cooking.  Rosalie enjoyed family camping vacations in the mountains of Colorado, holidays with family, and cooking Sunday family dinners.  Even in her later years, she was still able to cook a delicious Sunday dinner for her family.

Rosalie is survived by her two daughters, Carla Ann Hopkins and husband, Chuck Hopkins, of Oklahoma City, Gayla Klein Young and husband, Aaron Young, of Lawton, and six sons, Gary Klein, Mark Klein, Travis Klein, and David Klein, all of Lawton, Roger Klein and wife, Patti Klein, of Chickasha and Kevin Klein of Plant City, Florida.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Justin Klein, Amanda Brown, Lauren Nickle, Nick Webster, Shannon Harger, Dana Bazuldua, Adam Young, and Aidan Young, ten great-grandchildren, Aria Ward, Bennett Klein, Sutton Klein, Dee Brown, Aleck Brown, Rhett Brown, Lane Webster, Alona Webster, Teddy Harger, and Henry Nickle, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, and a sister, Norma Jean Smith, of Odessa, Texas.  She was also preceded in death by two of her sons, Daryl Klein and Ronnie Klein, both of Lawton, and a grandson, Joshua Klein of San Diego, Ca.

We will miss our beloved Mama, Memaw and Aunt Rosie. 

A Private Celebration of Life will be held to honor the life of Rosalie Klein at a later date.
