Ruth Adele McAlister

Memorial service for Ruth Adele McAlister, 62 of Lawton, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Bible Baptist Church in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Ruth Adele McAlister was born to Donna and Jerry Thompson on February 24, 1959 and went to her final resting place on August 2, 2021.

Ruth was proceeded in death by her mother and father Donna and Jerry Thompson. Ruth is survived by her Brother Dwaine Thompson and sister Rachel cook. son Adrian Long of Bristow Oklahoma, son Christopher Pickert of Saint Joseph, Missouri, and Daughter Debra Seanz of Lawton Oklahoma and many adopted children. Ruth had 7 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren and many aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ruth worked as a CNA for 20 plus years and retired in 1997. Ruth was a wonderful woman and would help anyone she could. Ruth loved to spend time with her family and talk about the old times while she ate and had a hand full of bit-o-honeys. If she couldn’t be with you, she was on the phone with you and would talk for hours, or she would be on Facebook messaging you. When she wasn’t with family she was home coloring in her coloring books, working in her puzzle books or watching a movie out of the hundreds of movies she had. She always had a cold glass of root beer any where she went. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
