Sandra "Sandy" Kay (Smart) Graves Rios

A private family service will be held for Sandra "Sandy" Kay Smart Graves Rios, 63, of Lawton.

Sandy passed away on Sunday, December 29th, 2019, at her home in Lawton.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Sandy was born on March 13th, 1956, in Lawton, Oklahoma to James Wilford and Betty Celestia (Bronner) Smart.  She grew up and attended school in Lawton.  Sandy worked many years as a waitress.  She also worked at Dillard's as a sales associate.  She loved her family and grandkids. Her family was her whole world. Sandy liked crafts and she lived her life her way. 

She is survived by six children, Jenny Michelle Smart and Magie Miller, and Angela Hopkins, all of Lawton, Will Shields and wife, Senia, Overland Park, KS, Brian Cunningham, Wausau, WI, and Dewell Brewer and wife, DeShawn, Lawton, OK; three granddaughters, Kimberli Burk and husband, Brett, Jordan Smart and Todd Williams, and Brooke Miller, all of Lawton; two great-granddaughters, Lacey Lynn Burk and Evalee Sky Williams, both of Lawton; and one brother, Kenneth Smart and wife, Samara, Lawton; her nephew, Kyle Taylor and wife, Raven; and many other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Morgan Smart-Rosende; three siblings, J.W. Smart, Karen King, and Ruth Taylor; and her nephew, Scotty Smart.
