Sixto C. Herrera

Funeral service for Sixto C. Herrera, 84 of Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delbert Hughes, pastor of Lighthouse Church of God officiating. 

Mr. Herrera passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 in Lawton. 

Sixto was born on March 28, 1934 in Marlow, Oklahoma  to Jesse and Elenor (Cobas) Herrera. He grew up in Southwest Oklahoma. He was a hardworking man and a loving father and grandfather.  He attended church wherever there was an open door and he loved playing the guitar. 

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Herrera, of Lawton; his daughter and son in law, Maria and Johnnie Lively, of Lawton; three sons and daughters in law, Vincent and Lynda Herrera, of Lawton, Fernando and Erica Herrera, of Confluence, PA, and Jason and Sue Herrera, of Lawton; two sisters and a brother in law, Nellie Gonzalez, of Lawton and Feliciana and Jesse Neito, of Lawton; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers and sisters.
