Funeral services for Sylvia Wisebaker, 50, of Lawton, Oklahoma, will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike Romaka Officiating.
Viewing will begin on April 27, 2018 at 8 a.m. and will continue until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
There will be a special visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wisebaker passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Lawton.
Sylvia was born in Palo Alto, CA on March 6, 1968 to Jose and Rosa Cerrillo. The family moved to Hacienda Heights, CA when she was a small child. She grew up in Hacienda Heights and graduated from LaPuente High School in 1986. After high school, she worked at several different jobs. In 1998, she joined the United States Army and served active duty for fifteen years. After her time on active duty she continued to serve her country honorably as a member of the United States Army Reserve. She was serving an internship and was about to graduate from dental assistant school.
Sylvia loved to spend as much time as possible with her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time outdoors.
She is survived by her husband, Nick, of the home; her parents, Jose and Rosa Cerrillo; her son, Eric Thompson Jr. of Whidbey Island, WA; her daughters, Tanya Lacher, and husband, Pete, of Portland, OR, Brianna Wisebaker, and Nicole Wisebaker, both of Lawton, OK; sisters and brothers in law, Rosa and Victor Hernandez, of Chino, CA, Bianca Avery, of Hacienda Heights, CA and Terry and Benjamin DeLaCruz, of Hacienda Heights, CA; brothers, Jose Cerrillo, and wife, Yazmin, of San Diego, CA and David Cerrillo, of Chino, CA; her grandchildren, James VanWinkle III and Victoria VanWinkle both of Portland, OR; Abigail and Bentley Becker of Whidbey Island, WA and Olivia Lacher of Portland, OR; her brother in law, Jeremy Ryan, of Killeen, TX. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
