Word has been received of the passing of William Roy Clark, 67 of Lawton, Oklahoma.
Mr. Clark passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 in Lawton.
Services are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. The family will be holding a gathering at 2 p.m. on Saturday Oct 26, 2019 at the home of Gene Warner.
William was born on September 7, 1952 in Munich, Germany to SGT. Edgel L. Clark and Willa Jean (Diehl) Clark. He grew up and attended school in Germany before coming back to the United States and moving to Fort Meade, Maryland. He relocated back to the area and attended Stoney Point School in rural Comanche County. William married Cathy Grant in 2002 in Conway, Arkansas.
William loved fishing, woodworking, and enjoyed classic movies and video games. He was a hard-worker, and was known to go by the nickname "Smash" due to his strength.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy, of the home; his step-daughter, Evon Smith, of Salt Lake City, Utah; his sister, Vicki Sue Buzbee, of Lawton; his sister in law, Dema (Gilmore) Clark, of Conway, Arkansas; his nieces, Randi Buzbee, Misty Collins, and Dana Reed; and his nephews, Chris Clark, Pojo Clark, Robert Clark, Daniel Reed, and Slugo Reed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgel and Willa Clark; his brother, Edgel "Chip" Clark; his sister, Patricia Lytle; and two nephews, Crayton Clark and Terry Clark.
