William "Bill" Jenkins

Funeral service for William Erskine "Bill" Jenkins, of Cache, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Cache School Auditorium in Cache, Oklahoma.  Dave Dugan, Minister of Cache Church of Christ will officiate.

Mr. Jenkins passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.    

Burial will be at Cache Cemetery, Cache, Oklahoma under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

There will be a special visitation on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 
 
Bill was born on August 14, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Archie "A.J."  Roger and Margaret Jane (Dale) Jenkins. He grew up in Cache and graduated from Cache High School in 1993. While attending Cache School, Bill enjoyed playing football and baseball. He received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern State University  in Tahlequah in 1997 and joined the Lawton Police Department where he served the Lawton community for over 21 years before retiring in 2018. He also owned his own business: Texoma K-9 Training. He married Kelly Deanne Givens in Lawton in 1997 and they made Cache their home, raising their two sons. Bill enjoyed hunting and dog training. 
  
He is survived by his wife, Kelly, of the home; two sons, Brody Jenkins and Connor Jenkins, of the home; his mothers, Marnie Jenkins and Debbie Jenkins; his brothers, Jason Clark, of LaCrosse, WI and Brian Beck, of Athens, TX; his sister and brother in law, Anne and Jason Neugebauer, of Nocona, TX; his father in law and mother in law, Kerry and Debbie Givens, of Cache, OK; his grandmother in law, Jean Givens, of Cache, OK; his brother in law, Keaton Givens, of Cache, OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his father; and his brother, Chad Clark.
