Graveside service for Janice "Jan" Scroggins, 63 of Edmond, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Highland Cemetery with Ken Couch officiating.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jan passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Edmond.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Jan was born on September 18, 1950 in Borger, Texas to Elmer Vernon and Mattie Melissa Wells Stottlemyre. She grew up in Fritch, Texas where she attended school graduating from Sanford Fritch High School in 1969. She married Mickey Scroggins on May 9, 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She owned and operated a day care for 21 years. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Mickey, of the home; her children, Kathy Stottlemyre, Cynthia Renee Stalhut, Darlene Scroggins, Donna Watson and Jeff Scroggins; her brother and sister in law, Danny and Sharon Stottlemyre, of Borger, Texas her sister, Janet Keeton, of Charlotte, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Michala Stalhut, Brittany Stalhut, Kara Thomas, Megan Landrum, Derek Landrum, Michael Landrum, Jacob Scroggins, Baylee Scroggins, David Watson, Brittany Watson, Kaleb Scroggins and Raven Scroggins; and one great grandchild, Ashland Landrum.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
