Funeral service for Linda Lou Stuckey, 69, of Lawton, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, 1302 SW “A” Ave., Lawton, with Donnie Crittendan, pastor of First Baptist Church, Gracemont, Oklahoma, officiating

Linda died Friday, July 11, 2014 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Linda was born February 26, 1945 in Marlow, Oklahoma to the late Opal and Cecil McLain. She married Jack Stuckey of Chattanooga, Oklahoma. The couple resided in Lawton where they raised two children, Tammie and Bobby. Linda was an exceptionally hard worker. She was employed by Gordon Carton’s Box Factory as well as Haggar Slacks manufacturing company where she worked for many years. Linda, Jack and the kids led an active life in the rodeo industry. She was extremely proud of her children and loved traveling to watch them compete. Linda’s life was richly blessed with three granddaughters and they were the delight of her life. She and Jack were very much involved with everything the girls did, including driving numerous miles to sporting events, stock shows and rodeos.  

Linda is survived by her husband, Jack, of the home; her children; Tammie Newsome of Lawton, and  Bobby Pillow and his wife, Shari, of Rattan, Oklahoma; her stepson, Jeff Stuckey, of Lawton, Oklahoma; her grandchildren; Cassidy Teague and her husband, Steven, and Jessica Pillow; all of Wichita Falls, Texas, Katie Newsome, of Lawton, Oklahoma, Judge Stuckey, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her great grandchildren, Adam and Chillton, of Lawton, Oklahoma; her sisters and brother-in-law Lavada and John Powell, and Jackie Littrell; her nephew, Shawn Powell and his wife, Keri and their daughter, Bailey, all of Midwest City, Oklahoma.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Danny McLain.
