Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home in Lawton & Grandfield, OK

Our History - Lawton & Grandfield, OK

Kris and Kara’s parents, Gary and Judy Gray, purchased the funeral home in their hometown of Grandfield in 1960. Gray Funeral Home is still managed by the Grays today. They came to Lawton in 1982, purchasing Lawton’s original funeral home. Since that time, the family has modernized Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home to reflect a continuing commitment to excellent service while meticulously preserving its warm and historic original character. Visitors frequently comment on the unique beauty of the facilities. In 2001, they expanded their serving capability when they purchased Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleums. In 2012, the Grays partnered with Carriage Services, allowing the fine tradition of Lawton's original funeral home to continue well into the future.

Our Vision for the Future

Gray Family Services has a rich tradition of serving the needs of families from all backgrounds. That will never change. However, times do change, and with them the needs, desires, and wishes of families in many areas of life…including the death of a loved one. While most families continue to choose tried and proven services, many are seeking a more personalized opportunity to remember a special one in a special way. Our vision is to stand ready – and able – to assist you with any memorial, any time, any place.
