I've known James, his brother and sister, and his parents since the mid-1940's, when we children attended Will Rogers Elementary school near the Fullerton family home. We remained friends through Lawton High, Cameron, and many Lawton High reunions. I have numerous precious memories of each of them.

I met James in connection with the Methodist Church and in connection with the Comanche County Democratic Party.. He volunteered his legal services for a project I was working on. He didn't talk much about himself. He was always focused on the task at hand. I will always remember him as a very special person.

I met Jim in 2008 while serving as Chair of the Comanche County Democratic Party. He became a friend. He was a loyal and dedicated member of the party. He was one of the best party volunteers during my term of office. I will certainly miss discussing politics with him. He was a true "OBAMA" supporter. My condolences to the family. Rest in peace Jim, your work here on earth is done.

I knew Jim for 5 years, with him being one of the first attorneys outside of Legal Aid that I had meaningful contact with. He was a capable attorney and a genuinely nice man. I had the pleasure in the last few months of his life to be co-counsel with him through Legal Aid's pro bono programs. He will be missed. On behalf of myself, the staff members at Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, and the Comanche County Bar Association, our most sincere condolences to his family.
