We were shocked to learn of your mother's passing. Our hearts go out to all of you. Our prayers are that God may give you the strength to face the coming days and the peace of knowing this wonderful lady is with her Lord and Master. May all of you keep your sight on that eternal home just as your mother did.

Thank you so much, Crawford family. Mama lived a long, fruitful life, and for that, we are blessed. She truly missed her Lawton friends and brothers and sisters in Christ while she was in Dallas. Some of them have passed on, also, letting us know how quickly the years go by and how God is in control. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We love you.

I worked at Douglass Elementary School part of the time that Willie was there. The one thing that remains in my heart and mind is that Willie was not only always smiling, but her fingernails ALWAYS matched her outfit for the day. It was always so fun to see what color she had on her nails. It could be emerald green to royal blue to orange to purple. no matter what color her clothes where, the nails matched perfectly!!! I know she will be very much missed. I wanted you to know a bit about my memories from Douglass. Suzette Graves Bentley

Thank you so much, Ms. Bentley. Mama loved her Douglass family. I would drop by occasionally and visit her at work, and I met many of you. She had wonderful memories of the students and the staff. And, yes indeed about her nails! :-) I think she had every nail polish color in the rainbow and then some! Thank you for that special memory, and I am happy that you were able to be a part of her life.
