Anneliese Andrade

Memorial service for Anneliese Andrade, 82 of Lawton will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Paul Craig of The Christian Center officiating.   

Mrs. Andrade went to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Lawton.

Burial will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.  

Anneliese was born on October 2, 1934 in Köln, Germany to Christine Pinsdorf. She grew up in Germany where she attended school. She married August Beck Andrade on June 24, 1961 in Baumholder, Germany and they moved to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1967 and later came to Lawton/Fort Sill, Oklahoma in 1974. Mr. Andrade passed away on January 7, 2007. For many years, Anneliese was a member of the German American Club of Lawton, the Lawton Arts and Crafts Club-which she attended every year here in Lawton at the same booth space, selling her hobby, knitting and visiting with everyone around her; The Hawaiian Club, and The Motorcycle Club-which they attended and helped organize many rallies and runs, one of their favorites was the Toys for Tots before Christmas. 

She is survived by her son, Gordon Keoke Andrade and wife, Teri, of Lawton; her grandsons, Joshua Andrade and Jordan Andrade, both of Lawton; and many other extended family and friends. She was affectionately known as "Oma" to many that loved her.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, August Beck Andrade; and her son, Daniel Kalani Andrade.
