Diana Lynn Ibex

Memorial service for Diana Lynn Ibex, 57 of Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Diana passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Lawton.

Diana was born on October 1, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Hubert and Polly (Perry) Frier. She grew up in Dallas where she attended school. She married Michael Byrd and to that union two daughters, Chasatie and Christi were born. She later returned to Dallas and lived for many years while caring for her parents. She returned to Lawton in 2005 to be near her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed looming and quilting and loved to color. She started and finished her days with a favorite cup of coffee.   

She is survived by her daughters, Chasatie Byrd and Christi Byrd, both of Lawton, OK; three sisters, Polly Ann Davis, of Red Oak, TX, Velinda Fulkerson, of Red Oak, TX, and Mary Twibell, of Sandia, TX; four grandchildren, Seth LaPierre, Brayden Southerland, Ethan Byrd, and Kaidynce Schroeder; a special friend, Glenna Howard; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and extended family on her former husband's side. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her infant sister, Pamela Frier, and two brothers, Roger and Wayne Frier.
