Word has been received of the death of Guy Lee Newsom, 60, of Lawton, Oklahoma.

Guy passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

No services are planned at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Guy Lee was born on February 16, 1957 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Harley Odell "Sonny" and Dorothy Mae (Harris) Newsom. He grew up in Lawton where he attended school. He was a mechanic in Lawton for many years. 

He is survived by his brothers, Butch Newsom, Mike Newsom, and Johnny Newsom, all of Lawton, OK; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tommy Nyrop.
