Memorial service for Johnny Mack Cofer III "Cole", 27 of Cache, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 23, 2017 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel.
Johnny passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Cache.
Johnny was born on November 11, 1989 at Shepard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas to Johnny Mack Cofer, Jr. and Shanon (Sims) Cofer. He attended elementary school in Childress, Texas and Sundown, Texas, and attended High School in Austin, graduating from Travis High School in 2008. Johnny played the drums in band and was very active in sports all through school, lettering in Varsity Wrestling and Football in high school. He also was involved in theatre in middle school. Johnny moved to Lawton and worked at Hibdon Tires, in Lawton, Temple-Inland in Fletcher, OK and in 2014, he began working at Republic Paperboard Company where he was a supervisor. He was an avid Texas Longhorn fan and enjoyed any sports that his brother, Cade was involved in. He liked hunting. Johnny loved his family and was very close to his brother, Cade.
He is survived by his parents, Shanon Sims, of Austin, Texas and Johnny Mack Cofer, Jr. and Melissa Cofer, of the home; his brothers, Cade Cofer, of the home, Colton Thomas, of the home, and Jarrad Crawford, of Tulsa, OK; his sisters, Jade Whitham, of Morocco, and Desember Wright, of Las Vegas, NV; his grandparents, Johnny Mack, Sr. and Joyce Cofer, of Jacksonville, FL, Ronald and Becky Sims, of Childress, TX, and Eddie and Jo Smith, of Lawton, OK; his great grandmother, Esther Cofer, of Memphis, TX; aunt and uncles, Jamie and Denise Cofer, of Lubbock, TX, Sharon and Chris Blackburn, of Childress, TX, and Sarah Sims, of Childress, TX; nephews, Kamdon Thomas and Lincoln Crawford; numerous cousins; and a host of loving friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Ann Cofer.
