Can't say enough about what it meant as a lonely black kid from the city to meet Pam at ORU's in 1977. Pam made me feel like one of her old friends that she had know for years. Pam would show me all the tricks to game and every we played I felt honored to take her place on the floor to give her a breather. Pam taught me how to laugh during the game and gave me my first wedgy. I love playing basketball with "footer", but more importantly I learned how to be a loving friend. I'll miss you Big Pam.

Pam was a big sister to me me growing up in Apache. I best remember the times she drove Greg and me to Rogers Lake for a swim and how she enjoyed teasing me, always in good fun. Her passing is very sad and I am extremely grateful to have known her.

Pam you were a joy to work with and it is hard to see you go. You always had a smile and a hug for me every time we crossed in the material center. You are an angel looking over us just as you were an angel when you were with us. I will miss you my sweet friend!
Love,
Scott Smith

This is a very very sad day for me, . . Pam was not only my coach , she was a dear friend as well. She helped me through so many tough times in my younger yrs when I didnt know what to do or where to go... She was there for me with an opened mind and a loving heart. . I just wished I could have told you how much you really meant to me and thank you again for your encouraging words and loving heart.. I will miss you even more now, till we meet again my friend.... Coach Mindemann had a big impact on my life. She was a great role model, mentor, and coach. She kept me playing basketball when many times I wanted to quit because I was so tall and uncoordinated. She promised me it would click one day, and it finally did. I wish I had thanked her in person, but she had moved by the time that happened. She gave so much of herself to others. She was a great lady. My prayers to your family and friends for healing. Rest In Peace, Coach.
